If you do the maths, you’ll quickly notice: whilst the residents of Schaffhausen pay a little more in taxation than in some other areas of the country, at the end of each month and year, they are still likely to be better off than others, for example than residents of our near neighbour, Zurich. Whether you buy or rent a property – purchase prices for land and property and rental charges are much more affordable here in Schaffhausen. Don’t just take our word for it.
