Love sport? Live here!

A large proportion of our local sports clubs are in top leagues – that says something about how much we love sport. Sports played at top level here include for example handball, volleyball and table-tennis. In summer, you’ll find your friends and neighbours along the banks of the River Rhine. Join the lilo-skippers, canoeists, divers, swimmers, families on a day out and couples enjoying the romance of the moment. Cyclists benefit from the extensive network of dedicated cycle paths and interesting trails, walkers can head for the Randen Hills. You can ride in the Reiat area just outside the city, hang out at the climbing centre Aranea+, golfers can play a round on one of the local golf courses – and in winter, the cross-country ski trail on the Randen Hills entices.
